![]() Your first impression on arrival is an “oh my traffic back up” off a particularly busy and tricky street into the narrow funnel of a driveway to valet parking and registration. This was our first visit to the Dream Inn which is arguably the most fantastic location for a hotel in Santa Cruz. ![]() The mattress and firm pillows were luxurious and sleeping to the sound of surf and quiet hallways and no other sounds was a “dream”! We tried to get reservations for six at the restaurant that sports a very nice menu but when we called it’s extension the message said we needed to reserve online for parties. ![]() The hotel and rooms were clearly frozen in the 1950’s to 1960’s colors and furniture styles but clean and well maintained and very new carpets and bedding were wonderful. Even located in a first floor view we were still fifty feet above the beach. The rooms facing the beach and iconic wharf gave us a magnificent view. They also gave us the option to be located in a room far from the noisy elevator which we were thankful for. Front desk registration was quick and access to our room wasn’t final inspected so they had that completed in five minutes. The valet’s move quickly and as my wife was using a walker due to a recent surgery so they brought a cart to unload our luggage and immediately valeted our car. The bus stop Delaware Avenue & Centennial Street is located at the distance of only a few minutes from this Santa Cruz property.This was our first visit to the Dream Inn which is arguably the most fantastic location for a hotel in Santa Cruz. The area also includes natural sites like the 65-acre California Natural Bridges State Beach, which are within a 2.6-km distance of Dream Inn Santa Cruz. The surfing beach is set approximately 450 metres from the accommodation, while Mitchell's Cove Beach is a 25-minute walk away. The Dream Inn is a 10-minute drive from Harvey West Park and within 250 metres of Santa Cruz Wharf. This upscale inn is placed about 55 km from Mineta San Jose International airport and close enough to Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary Exploration Center. The luxury Dream Inn can arrange a variety of activities such as canoeing, surfing and hiking. The Dream Inn Santa Cruz comes with a Jacuzzi and an outdoor swimming pool. Jack O'Neill Restaurant & Lounge offers American dishes and lies a mere 250 metres from the hotel.Ī swimming pool and a sun terrace can be provided at a surcharge. It also features a lounge for guests' comfort. Residents can have breakfast in the restaurant. Guests can use a Jacuzzi and a shower together with a hairdryer and dressing gowns. Some rooms provide a coffeemaker and a small fridge as well as complimentary wireless internet and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels to help you enjoy your stay. There's also private parking on site, along with a cash machine and a lift on site. Offering a Jacuzzi and a golf course, the 4-star Dream Inn Santa Cruz is set in the Westside Santa Cruz district, 600 metres from Mark Abbott Memorial Lighthouse.
